AirScreen μicro

Breathe safely by filtering viruses from your work environment.
Indoor air is confined and recycled with no place to escape, risking infections when airborne droplets are inhaled or settle on a surface and enter the body through the eyes, nose or mouth. Viruses typically spread through airborne microorganisms ranging from 20-400 nanometer-sized droplets.

According to a New England Journal of Medicine article, infectious viruses (including COVID-19) can remain in the air for up to (3) three hours. Fortunately, these micro-droplets can be removed from the air with a high-efficiency air filter.

Our AIRSCREEN μicro ambient air cleaner effectively filters molecular dust AND, when optioned with a MERV 15 or MERV 16 filter selection, will combat and reduce the risk of COVID-19, Coronavirus or other contaminations being spread.

Both MERV 15 and MERV 16 filters exceed the ASHRAE Standard 170-2013 minimum for hospital filtration. A HEPA filter is available for extremely critical areas, such as a research laboratory.

History of Viruses

  • Viruses for which no viable vaccine has been found are difficult to control. In combination with high infection and mortality rates, these viruses can become severe and very difficult-to-manage pandemics.
  • The World Health Organization has declared alerts and outbreaks many times in history due to deadly virus infection. Here are few that are noteworthy.
  • In February of 2003, Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) killed about 1 in 10 people affected. In 40 years of the occurrence, the Ebola virus has killed 25% to 90% of those infected. Novel Coronavirus that started in 2019, has more than 40,000 reported cases, and this number been growing.
